Located in the Western Canadian Prairies, this project is a reinterpretation of vernacular Albertan architecture. Simple forms with voids and a daring cantilever, together with careful detailing and locally sourced materials, define the architecture of this private residence. The spatial subdivision is such that while the private and sleeping quarters are located in the main floor, all the living and social spaces are situated on the upper floor, so to enjoy the majestic views over the surrounding territory.
